what's that ?
Well it.s not what you thought. he's blogging. Bit of a pig of a leg from wellington to tiverton. Started hilly, then muddy, then busy. Got to tiverton the obligatory two hours late. Angel guesthouse has the longest bath in the world which is bliss. We are both worn out but there's only two more big bits to do. But .... Forecast is for 25 mph wind against - i haven't told ish.

The envious non participant is back !!!!!!. While away I have been keeping a close eye on the TDF and it would appear that most if not all riders are on drugs. As an observation can I suggest that if you are questioned by the End to End Ratification Commitee deny everything, as this seems to work! Explain that the small white pills in you pockets are are for pain releif only and are in no way connected to performance enhancement. Finally I have it on good authority you can spit on Lands End from North Devon even in a South Westerly. Sunday's Yours
....well only 2 full days to go ..then little stroll down to Lands End to finish..... Am aiming to meet you some where in Cornwall on friday morning/lunch time to buy you a pint or two!!(Unless you two have given up drinking..which according to Ish's blog you certainly haven't as he names very beer/cider and whisky that you have drunk!!) So keep going and look forward to seeing you achieve your goal!!!
Had he taken the obligatory hot bath first ("hot as you can tolerate") and is now draining all the bad, exhausted blood from his legs ready for tomorrow's onslaught?
I thought so!
Well done guys, not far now. Just think - you could be sitting in an office - bleuh! What's sad for me now I've left you is that I'm sitting so far from a window so can't even guess what kind of weather you might be having.
Sounds like you're managing well without me. I've arranged to go for a ride on Friday evening with Christian, so will remind myself of the joys of making intimate friends with the saddle once again, as you do every morning!
Was it at this point the midwife said "one more push should do it"???!!! Weather been appalling here today .... Nathan's cricket cancelled due to pitch resembiling a river!!!
